people actually play like that? That is absolutely ridiculous. It has to be bad for your wrists, your form, and your heads...

you know that is really stupid but you know that a lot of us try some really stupid stuff when we first start playing.
the thing that I tryed that at the time a lot of players were doing.
and that was playing with your toms flat as in the top head was looking strait up at the celing and the bottom at the ground.
I tryed this and I coundnt stand it.

but you want to hear another stupididy story that happoned with me.

I bought a drumset on ebay about a year ago and this is how it was shipped to me.

It has a 12in tom
a 16in x 18in floor tom and a 22in bass drum

this guy thrying to save on room on shipping put the tom in the floor tom then put the head back on then put the floor tom in the bass and put the head back on but the problem was that the floor tom is longet than the bass and this guy put the head on tight and it ended up breaking the drum head by ripping it out at the hoop and then it also broke the bass drum hoop and I was just like WTF is this when I got it.
the worst part was that he was a drummer that I guess just decided to quit and just really didnt care how it was shipped.
