Favorite Fills


So say that you're on a 4 piece kit... what are some of your favorite fills? Mine are crossovers because they look really cool. Max Weinburg does it on the Conan O'Brien show every time. Check it out.

I think I've seen that show before. Looks pretty nice. But I'm more of a fan of paradiddles around the drums. Good stuff

I guess my favorite fill that I still do a lot is to play flams on the bass and 8th note on the toms so that it would almost be like a flam tap combo between the 2.

i think mine would have to be triplets of any kind... i just love the feel and they can be implemented into intricate patterns ..

it all depends on the music though.. fills by themselves are nothing.. merely noise.. it's how they complement the accompanying music that makes them great

well I think it's good for what it's worth.. but there are definitely different ways to cresendo and doing the same thing can get very boring.. plus it's very newbieish..

I suggest you put more tricks in your bag, its always a good thing
