Do you guys tend to get more gigs and stuff in the summer or other times of the year? Just curious as to know when the best times are during the year for gigs

During summer, we usually do get more gigs.

During summer, it is warm. No school. Everybody is on a vacation. Everybody has a crapload of time. Which means there are more opportunities to play. Which is funky. That means, more gigs.

So yeah, usually there are more gigs during summer.

For example, during winter, it would suck carrying your drumset and amps and other crap during a freezing weather, ne?

Me like summer.

Hm, you bring up a good point..
I guess it depends on where you're located as well..
I think it'd be easier to do gigs in California in the winter than somewhere like Michigan.. just my thought

Also, you have to remember that a lot of time people go on vacation so gigs can be hard to come by in the summer. If you're young there's also more competition in the summer as school is out as well.

Just take what you get... gigs come in bunches and the more experience you get the easier it will get... so every gig builds on the next
