I agree with G-Unit... showoffs are never good.. espeically if they suck at drums.. it would also be pretty embarassing if you attempted one of those and screwed it up...
but then again its up to you... i admit it looks pretty cool and there are some good books out there for that kinda thing
ok get a dvd called creavtive control by THOMAS LANG hell give you some stick visuals and if you wanna see a clip check it out at www.drummerworld.com just check for thomas lang
Drumstick Spinology is also a good book for drum spinning and twirling. It comes with a DVD too. I haven't seen it but I've heard some good things about it. John Blackwell is also a master of drumstick twirling.
I just do the fake spin when i play sometimes where you wobble the stick in circular motion around your index and middle finger... not so complicated or fancy but its a good illusion and looks pretty cool
if you want to see some cool ass stick tricks just go on down and check out any DCI snare like and you will some cool stuff.
one of the one I learned for the colts was to play tradi grip make 2 strokes starting on the right then you throw your right handed stick to your left and your left your right in the process going back to traditional grip.
Ill try and get a video clip of it on here soon so you can see what Im talking about.
