Monitors Question

Not sure if it exists but I'm looking for a monitor that I can plug into my ears when I'm playing with the band... something that would lower the decibels of the drums so the monitor could come thru would be really great.. any suggestions? What do all of you guys use for monitors?

Well for me, this is what I do... I got a 3.5 mm to 1/4 inch adapter for cables and I plugged in some earbuds into the monitor system that my practice band uses.. You can get isolation earbuds taht block out external sounds like your drums... that way you can listen to the monitors clearly while minimizing the sound of your drums. it works well and its pretty efficient for me... the isolation ear buds can be bought for like $100... or you can just use regular cheap ones and put on some of those blue vic firth isolation headphones
