Thanks,
The 4pc shell kit (10,12,14 mounted toms 22" bass) was 2600 online from Idaho percussion. The snare (6.5 X 14) is 470 (still waiting on...maby it will come in this month) well worth it! projects like birch, warm as maple. since ya like the cymbal set up I'll throw up the specs....
20" projection ride, 18" china, 14" projection hats, 15",17" crashes, 16" projection crash, 8",10",12" splashes.

very nice! Like the cymbals too. I'm still waiting on my snare to get in...6.5 X 14 and I just ordered some parts so I can fix my set up a bit. At the moment the toms are too high and angled. Anyway, ya gotta love the sound huh? 'specially with the coated batters. Did you cut the mic hole in the bass yourself? I kinda need that done also and would appreciate any advice ya might have on it.

Hi Chris, you are right, those drums sound fantastic, especially with coated heads on the toms and an Evans Emad BD-head! Soon, I will post some soundfiles if possible!

Cutting the hole is quite easy: Just take a 6" Remo O-Ring, stick it to the head, and cut carefully with a sharp boxcutter along the inner edges of the O-ring...ready, takes a few minutes.

Tell me how you like the new snaredrum, I recently tested the 5,5 and it sounded absolutely great: fat and responsive!
greetings Max
