anyone here check out the speed king bass pedal? It's got a sort of retro vintage look to it and i was wondering how it compared to the other top models

ask an older drummer about them and usealy only 2 things come up.
1. buddy rich used that model
2. it is refered to as the squeek king hahaha

I used to own one but mine I think was boult back in the 60's but I dont know about anyof the newerr ones.

i hear that the new ones don't squeek anymore... whats a speed king without the squeak?? haha

it's changed a lot over the years... still has that old vintage look though
