i tap everywhere. i am generrally fidgety, so i drum on my legs and chest. my teacher this year especially hates tapping, so ill try and survive

At first I used to do it without noticing but since my friends have gotten anal about it, I do it on purpose. They chose to have a drummer as a friend, and now they have to deal with it. >

It only annoys my family. My friends are half drummers themselves so they just add on. Sometimes we get thigh-slapping drum circles going, accenting on desks and rails and such.

Does anybody go crazy with their feet while listening to an iPod and not realize it, then look around at everybody? They all stare at you with that, "D00d, STOP IT!" look, and then you notice that you are tapping out every note in the song that is playing. It's kind of awkward depending on the crowd, but sometimes it's pretty funny, especially if it happens alot with the same people.

Anyway, I always get caught tapping. my dad said I won't be successful if I do that all the time.
I tap all the time in school, my teachers hate me.
But I love doing it, but half the time I don't notice me doing it.

I should show my wife this thread, to prove that i'm not the only one. She has a video of me driving around after I got my ring, using my ring as the snare on the metal emblum on my steering wheel. She thinks i'm crazy.
