Denting your drums

How many dents and scratches do you have on your drums? Whenever I move my drums I manage to get at least one dent or scratch, especially on the bass drum and I cringe every time.. it's painful..

hate to say it but unless you take your drums apart and put each in a case as you take them apart and same for set up and then very carful putting up it is somthing that is really hard to keep from doing.
that why you get a color that dosnt show scratches so well.

i gave up counting after the first few.. full metal is right, you just kind of accept it after a while and a color like white or pearly would minimize the dents.. something dark would make them more visible
