It kind of stinks that I had to word it that way, but I've played with several people that don't consider Marijuana a drug or, if they do consider it a drug, they think that they can function while high on it as if they were sober.
I was playing a gig with a guy a few months ago who is notorious for amongst musicians in the area for being a pot head and while at a rehearsal, he said, "Contrary to what many people around here think, I never smoke weed at rehearsals...only while I'm at the gig." As if that was ok for some reason. Consequently, I used to play with another guy who prided himself on the fact that he never smoked weed at a gig, only at rehearsals. As if
that was ok or something.
I will never understand some people.
