How well do you learn drums?

Everyone has a different aptitude playing the drums. Some people pick things up rather slow and need to play something 100 times before it clicks in their head and they get it. Others, however, are just naturally talented and just need to see it once before it's engraved in their heads. (it's not fair)

For me, I'm the kind of person where I have to play something multiple times before it sticks in my head and I'm confident with it. A lot of times I'll even forget it and need to practice it even more. That just means I have to practice harder and as efficiently as possible.

So how well do you learn and pick up drum licks? How hard was it for you when you were a beginner and started playing?
