Drummers with dogs

My dog is afraid of fireworks, but not drumming sounds?

what about the rest of you? any experience with this?
I have to take my dog outside on a leash on the July 4th weekend. He refuses to go outside. But I can play drums and percussion and he doesn't even move.

My dog is dancing when I play drum (he's spinning around trying to get his tail) and doesn't fear firework (actually I bring it when going to the shooting field and he's used to hear firearm shot) but he dont like very much lightning and thunder storm...

my dog used to go run and hide now he just runs into anouther room and barks untill I am done playing and he is so loud that I can hear him over the drums.
He is kinda afraid of every thing, if I flick my zippo close to him he will run away like it is going to come after him or somthing, he has done that since I got him, he is a really weired dog sometimes.
fire works typicaly dont bother him all that much and the only time a storm bothers him is when it is right on top of us, but normal thunder he is fine with.

I've got two cats. They react baldy to fireworks and thunderstorms, but have no beef with my drums.

And don't anyone start on me about being a cat person or I'll have a beef with you!!

Personally, I hate cats... I've even be scratched by a couple.

I don't have any pets but would love to own a small dog at some point.

Plus, you can't really compare drums to fireworks. Fireworks are much much louder and sudden. Plus, there's the visual component of it, like fire in the sky.

Maybe I can show you my dog...

It's a 92 pounds 3 years old female golden retriever named "MOKA". We, my wife & children, love her very much she's a really good dog which I have done a good job training her.

Sorry maybe I wasn't precise enough but it's my dog name. I know it's a coffee savour and we liked that name for her.

Yep, but we wanted to have an original name so we replaced some letters...
