Drum gear you wish you never bought

I bought a Latin Percussion Sambago Bell set. My kids drove me nuts with it.

Those are interesting. What do they sound like?

I wish I never bought some Treeworks chimes. They're great for some songs and stuff and they sound great but I don't use it enough to justify the purchase.

I wish I never bought my 17" Sabian HHX metal crash. it's much too like a china and not loud at all. not very nice to ride on either and no bell sounds at all.

I hear they're really good for certain styles but not for my style. That was the first impulsive buy I ever did, I take the time to research now!! lesson learnt

Ufip 12" icebell. Bought it secondhand for $70. There was a smaller one there that I should have gone for, but I was beggining and I just thought bigger was better.

I barely use the thing now, but it does make a convincing 1940's army helmet.

Blue LP jam-block. Thought it was cool at the time, now I don't even like the noise it makes at all.

Z custom 19" thrash ride, one week in, 19 of the 24 outside hammer marks (I think thats what their called) cracked and it was unplayable within two weeks. The warrenty was a pain in the arse and I learned a valuable lesson on impulse buying.
