I guess it never really occurred to me until I went to my local drum shop the other day. I am a lefty, however, my kit is setup for a right handed player.

I'm not a lefty but I'm curious as to how things are different for lefty drummers. In a lot of sports, lefties have some sort of advantage. They can come at you in different angles.
So in the same light, is there any kind of advantage of being a lefty drummer? The set up would be different but I can't really think of how else things would be different.
