Hi all,

I'm not sure whether this is the right forum to post this topic in, but here goes:

I've just bought a book with a lot of rhythms, and some of them (I think) can often be quite difficult to read - and play, but that's another story.

Do any of you guys know if I can download some software, where I just 'type in' the rhythm, and then it's played?

Any help will be appreciated.

There's something like that called TabTrax. It does musical notation and tab. There's a free trial on this website: www.2112design.com The full version is $29.95, but you might be able to do what you want in the trial.
Also, you can try finale note pad, but its not set up in the traditional drum style of notation. www.finalenotepad.com
