Double pedal- left pedal sticky?

I bought a Tama iron cobra (rolling glide) about 4 years ago. I used it for a short time but then quit. Recently I have brough it back out. Since then my right foot has become incredibly better. Not my left however. But my left pedal was really bothering me. It felt rather sticky and not as smooth as the right pedal. I tried it with both my feet.

I took it apart, cleaned it up and gave it a nice loob... It seemed a little better but still doesn't feel as natural... I don't remember this problem 4 years ago but maybe I wasn't as sensitive to such things....

Anyone experienced with double bass drumming could maybe tell me if this is just normal for the left pedal, since there are more moving parts anyway. I always remember the Iron Cobras are supposed to be the best. Maybe I'm too picky.....

i have a tama iron cobra power glide and i cant set up the left pedal for the life of me!

It's just not nice at all, I can't get it right. with me, its like the beater hits sort of before i want it to, and it feels sticky and not as fluent as the right, which is a dream to play.
