Question Which kit would you buy?

Hi everybody!

I need you to make an important decision for me. I've been a drummer for 12 years now, but have only played one kit - an old Rogers. So I'm very experienced, but know nothing about makes and models. I've narrowed it down to two different sets, both fairly similar. Prices are in CDN dollars and don't include hardware.

1. Premier 5PC W/ 26" kick - Birch $1200

2. Ludwig 5PC Zep W/ 26" kick - Accent Custom $1350

I'm not sure if all Ludwig Accent Customs are made of birch. Can somebody confirm for me what that Ludwig kit is made of? The most important factors in this choice for me are hardware durability and sound (obviously). If you're familiar with these kits/brands please make my choice for me. Thanks!

Dude, I don't know which would be better, because I have not played either and I strongly suggest you do not buy until you do the same.

i do agree that it would be kind of a gamble to just buy one or the other without even comparing the two in the store... but do as you wish
