Saw a few posts regarding the "Perfect Shield" drum shield. Sounds like it is a good one. I play in a church setting in a large gymnasium setting. Our stage is recessed into the end wall about 12ft x 24ft. I am not a basher and try to use technique where ever I can to contol sound but retain dynamics.
Do these "perfect shields" work? I have read on Musicians Friend about another brand that got 50/50 reviews. Either the buyer loved it, or hated it, no in betweens.
Give us your pro's and con's. How easy is the "perfect shield" to assmeble? What other techniques have you used to contol drum volume without compromising head feel and sound?
