i think kollias is the best technical metal drummer on the scene right now, but derek roddy is better at blasting.
however that isnt much of a statement, because there are very few people who can honestly claim to blast better than roddy.
kollias is definitely my favorite metal drummer, but not my favorite drummer including other genres.
George is pretty good, but u should look up lyle cooper he plays technical death metal and he is really sick but george is dope and he can play his genre pretty well
Holy **** almost 3 years since a reply to this topic. Been busy around here huh?...it is impossible to compare and say there is 1 drummer better than any other drummers in metal music. There are so many amazing drummers that are doing things song after song that would have been unheard of 20 years ago. I bet noones heard of Mike Collins from Viraemia. There are countless bands like this out there that haven't yet had a chance to get their **** to your ears. Yes,Lyle Cooper and the Faceless are awesome.
