Question about Ddrum

Would Ddrum sets (whether any or a certain kind) work well for metalcore ("hardcore") music such as As I Lay Dying, Zao, Haste The Day and bands as such? I use a Pearl Export cause I mostly play metal/death metal but I may end up in a metalcore band sometime soon and was wondering what to get (since Truth drums are way to pricey).

Please someone let me know

Thanks

Re: Question about Ddrum

Alright, I can tell you that ANY kit will work for virtually any genre of music. It's up to you what you want to hear. That said, the lower end Ddrum kits have really flimsy hardware. The Export can take you pretty far, being a decent sounding, durable kit.

Re: Question about Ddrum

True. Thanks man...only problem I have with my Export kit it moving it from place to place. I'm in a Death Metal band where I use 2 bass drums and 2 floors and 3-4 mounted toms so it gets to be a hassle and if I join/start a Hardcore band I don't want to deal with that.

Thanks man.
