Tabs

Hey, everyone. I'm not sure if this is the right spot for this question or not, but it seemed like my best bet. I need a good site for drum tabs, I've been searching all over the internet and can't find a single decent website for drums tabs. Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Tabs

ULTIMATE GUITAR TABS ARCHIVE | 250,000+ Guitar Tabs, Bass Tabs, Chords and Guitar Pro Tabs!
the site's got a massive library of tabs

if you want to be able to view the songs that have drum tabs in them, you'll neeed a tablature editor called Guitar Pro, which i'm assuming you might have... do you?

Re: Tabs

Thanks for the link, I'm still having problems finding drum tabs on that website, though. Perhaps that's what you meant by Guitar Pro? I don't have it, and don't really know much about tablature. I've been playing for the last two years mainly by listening to a song and then just playing it. Although, as I get better and start playing more complex things, it's hard to just hear it and play. Thanks again in advance for any advice.

Re: Tabs

Yes, Guitar Pro (from what I have seen) is pretty much the only program you can use to view/edit/create/etc. tablature... if you'd like, i could send it to you via email or via Windows Live Messenger, or via another method... any suggestions?

An alternative would be to look at what i would call"regular" tablature, usually written with a program like Notepad or Microsoft and documents notes by putting notes of a specific part of the drumset (e.g. hi-hat, bass drum, snare) on lines for you to read. This is more convienient, but if you're like me, you'd prefer to read standard notation (regular notes), which is why you'll need a program like Guitar Pro. If you're interested in the program, just post that you are, and if not, here's an example of the written tablature I was taking about...

HH-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-|
S -----@-------@---|

BD -o-----o---o-----|

HH = Hi-hat
S = Snare
B = Bass Drum

depending how far apart the symbols are spread, each note counts for a certain beat (in this example, the hi-hat notes are eigth notes, the snare notes are quarter notes, and the bass drum notes are quarter notes as well).

well, i hope that helped you out a bit...
P.S. another good site for tabs to use with Guitar Pro is (click here); so if you're interested in Guitar Pro just post...

Re: Tabs

oh, and the other tablature site also has drum tablature like the "regular" kind I had demonstrated using symbols... but like i said, if youre like me you'd prefer to use a program like Guitar Pro... anyway, it's whatever your preferences are.

Re: Tabs

Yo sorry dude, i couldn't send it to you because i don't think Gmail liked the massive size of Guitar Pro's installation file >.<

however, you can still get the program... you can download the complete program here using a BitTorrent client like this one; here is the link to the Guitar Pro download locations. Once you have downloaded the BitTorrent client (if you don't already have one) then you can use the client to download Guitar Pro. if you need anymore assistance just holler

site to download Guitar Pro (with BitTorrent client):
