I'd just like to know your take on the drumometer. What do you think of them? Do you own one?, etc, etc....
I've been using one of these nifty little contraptions over the past 6 months or so (until I broke the triggers) and I find it to be very helpful and addicting. By addicting I mean I will sit at my practice set for hours trying to beat my highest BPM on feet and hands. It does help when trying to gain speed and keep in tempo, but I guess that was what it was made for right?

.
For those who have no idea of what I'm talking about, this "DRUMOMETER" is a device that can count your beats per minute in a given time 1 second - 900 sec (15 min). It also has a metronome function that you can use by itself or with the counter that goes up to a blistering 300 bpm. You may have heard of this through the WFD Worlds Fastest Drummer Competition.
Tell me your thoughts. GO!
