Apart from all the good advice already given, I'd advise you to watch as many drummers as you can, at gigs, on DVD, etc - you can always learn something, no matter how basic or advanced they are - people always do something different and just try to emulate what they do. Remember, if you can sing it, you can play it. I'm always trying to vocalise drum sounds to make playing the pattern easier - so that's trrrrr kerrash! from me. G'night!

My interpretation if a three tom: De de de, deh deh deh, doh doh doh, thats my quic k fill i do, when i am improvising... also Playing in the head see the cymbals and drums instead of flailing your arms around like when playing, so people will think your crazy...
