I've got DW 9000 double bass pedals. I'm looking for opinions on their set-up and performance from other drummers that have them or have used them.

I have the single pedal version. Its silent and runs smoothly. I just didn't like the stock beater, it was too heavey for me so I replaced it with the one from a tama iron cobra.

i got a 5000 series and minus a few little features its about the same and i like them how the factory set them

I have used the 9000 double pedal and I loved it although the beaters were a little too heavy.
I have the 7000 double pedal myself and I love it. I adjusted the beaters to be closer to drum and tightened up the springs because of the decreased distance the beaters will travel to gain resistance. I also switched out the beaters to lighter ones. Now my 7000 is as fast as lightning
