I decided to learn something new this year and I wanted to challenge so I decided... Drums!. It takes coordination, skill, persistence, and dedication which is all traits I could better myself with. My drum instructor is starting to teach me the basic beats of course but I just went to see the Bravery this past weekend with a few co-workers from UMGD and the band that opened up for them really surprised me. They remind me of Coldplay meets The Killers. Since I am on this new drum kick I was really inspired by their drummer Mal Taylor. All I do now is listen to their songs on their myspace page (MySpace.com - Your Vegas - New York City / Leeds(UK), US - Indie / Rock / Pop - www.myspace.com/yourvegas) and watch the video for The Way The War Was Won (The Way The War Was Won Music Video on IMEEM Video) over and again and hopefully, learn to play a few of their songs.

that's cool, but find a real drummer to help you out. I have never seen any one becoming a good musician by just listening to others. I am new too, but know a lot of musicians, so that's how I know
