Re: Who's got the best snare sound?

Abe Cunningham. Two words: Digital Bath. Nothing comes close, that snare sound is perfection. Tama 14x6.5" Bell Brass baby!

The overall drumset sound on "Around The Fur" was really good. A diffinative kit sound.

Re: Who's got the best snare sound?

AAAAHHHHHHH....so many snares....so little time. The snare is the most personal drum, but here are a few of mine favorate snares that I play...My #1 that I use most of the time a maple craviotto, yamaha maple Bill Cobham (wood hoop ), ayotte chrome and for a tight pop I have a little 13x7 maple
d-drum....as for pro...Jeff Porcaro, Stewart Copeland, Chris Adler......Iknow..I know, very adverse but I listen to a lot of different music.

Bonham, Rich, Weckl, Colaiuta, gadd, rabb, greb....
Dang so many... I really love the sound of any snare so long as it is properly tuned.
