And the stick goes flying

Anything special you would like to share that helps you keep the sticks from
launching like a missile toward the guitarist?

Re: And the stick goes flying

I use tennis grip. I'd used drum stick grip in the past but it's rediculously overpriced and is pretty much the same thing. Give it a try it's awesome.

I've perfected my technique to the point where I can load a stick into a bow and accurately fire it at any target with great success, all without missing or dropping a single beat.

Talking Re: And the stick goes flying

Hi Guys,
I always have a third stick handy, which I then by means of the Moeller Technique
propel with great vigor into the head of my floor tom, so that it bounces with astonishing velocity into the direction ( and hopefully in the gut) of the bass gitarist.
I do this every time he asks me to "just" play a "straight" groove as not to hinder his tendency to put more cyncopations in his riff than a Gatling gun with the hickups!

Cheers and Happy drumming,

Harry
