Snares...?

Not snare drums... the coiled wires on the bottom... the snare.

What difference do they make? Are there good and bad, poor and better?

Why are some $29.99 and some $14.99?

I was replacing a snare drum reso head tonight and realized I know nothing about these mysterious but important parts of the drum.

The basics are, you probably know them, More snares more buzz, there are strands or 10 to strands of 50.

You can modify them, the only thing is you need to cut at least two at a time (or it wont make a good sound). heres a video:

To get to Part 2 I went to youtube.com and typed in Broken Opportunity Pt.2 and it came up
