The Titanium series are more of a beginner/intermediate line from
Zildjian, so if you are sort of a beginner, they should do fine for a while. The
Mapex Pro M drums are great at that level as well, and are probably the best value for the money--they should also last a while as you progress up.
I would say that the whole kit should fit you nicely for a while, and that eventually you may want to upgrade the cymbals for a better sound. The Pro M drums should last you longer with good tuning and maybe some new heads (skins) to get the sound you want--but otherwise should serve you for years to come....
ALSO--the Pro M series will be (or has been) cancelled, so you may be able to work the dealer a bit on the price, as they are no longer produced--the line has been replaced with something else and the dealer will want the NEW line of drums on his floor and will need the room...
