Bought another kit.....

A '90's Premire Genistra in Emerald Stain finish. Picked them up in Cleveland Friday. Have yet to play them, but got a great deal and they've been very well taken care of. Less than 600.00.

And, I won this hot smoldering Gretch Copper, but have yet to recieve it.

I'm excited about everything to say the least.
Hope everyones well.

Happy Easter

Re: Bought another kit.....

Wow! Awesome purchase and congratulations on the prize. I had Premier drums in the 70s until they were stolen. I loved the sound and the look. Will that be a practice kit? What other drums do you have...I forget.

Re: Bought another kit.....

That kit will be used in a new project to compose original prog/metal for recording. I'm gonna add my octcbans, and use an aux snare and H.H. also. I'm watching another set of Eliminators that the bidding ends on today on Ebay. Other than that and a couple good boom stands I'll be set for this new gig.

For my gigging band, I play Mapex Saturns, 8 piece.
We just were in John Schwab's studio in Columbus cutting a seven

For rehersal in a blues gig I'm in, I have a 2000 Rockstar kit. I'll probably use the Premire's if we play a competion soon or a gig. Gotta get cases for them too. Damn, keep forgetting that.

That sucks man you had a set stolen. The older Premire's are killer kits. mine say's "Made in England" right on 'em.

Re: Bought another kit.....

I used to have a Premiere kit myself and gotta say they sounded great. Mine were Birch with power tom sizes, so they were huge sounding. Like yours, mine said Made In England right on the badges....

Congrats on the prize! That Gretsch snare should sound insane as well... It will have 30 degree bearing edges so it will sound warmer and maybe not as loud as you're used to, but rimshots sound sweet and they sound wonderful mic'd...

~Cheers
