Thumbs down Pulse drum throne help

Ok I am a big guy & I ordered the pulse throne made for heavy people.
I have been jamming on it for a few months, though last month it started to move and swerve while I am playing & it is so annoying since I play double and I need to be extremely steady. I read recent reviews on it & some one else said it moves a lot too. All of the bolts are tightened but it makes no difference. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Or what throne do you recommend for people exceding over 300 lbs? the Roc N Soc Nitro Lift?

Re: Pulse drum throne help

Dude I just checked out that throne on the web site. The legs on it are not made for centrifugal balance. I'm also an architect and I think that Sound Percussion makes a much better throne than that one. I use one and my older son is 6'2" and almost 260lbs. Never had an incident like that.

You need a spread leg type of throne to beep your balance. The one I saw on the site looks more like a bar stool type of layout. Any one can get injured on one of those.

Have you checked out Gibraltar thrones? Don't waste your money and the next time you go to a drum shop, squat on the sucker and spin a little before purchasing anything. I'm just glad you didn't get hurt brother.

Re: Pulse drum throne help

Cheapest isnt always best............Pulse thrones are made in China from nasty grade steel, cheap plywood, mounded foam and plastic. Man I can't believe it didn't collapse.
For the best thrones in the world visit Leather Drum Throne Systems. Were talking memory foam and leather...............Awesome. Shaun..........
