A Quick Little Heads Up! Just want to let you guys know so you are not disappointed.
There are 2 kits in the running right now for next kit.
Gretsch Catalina ash,
and pearl Vision.
I may get the Vision, and I don't want anyone to be mad or suprised if I do.
Cheers every one. |

Re: A Quick Little Heads Up! Is there an 18", and if so what about 12" 16 18" with a free 10", like Jason Bittners setup.
10 12 14 16 John rice's from JFAC
12 and 14 and make it a fusion.
Just saying take the advantage of the extra tom! |

Re: A Quick Little Heads Up! Gus,
It has a free 8x7,
a 8x10,
a 12x9,
and a 16x16 toms.
Very nice kit. The Paiste Alphas will good with that Pearl.
People at Guitar Center said it used to be $1500.
Hard to believe though. They where
referring to the MSRP which is $1500.
I'm gonna get new heads of course. |

The cool thing is... You can make it an 12 16 kit, also versatile.

Re: A Quick Little Heads Up! Gus....
It doesn't look good from here....
The Pearl comes in complete set form with cymbal stands,
snare stand and pedal for $900.
I received a coupon in the mail from GC for 20% off Pearl drum kits.
Which would bring that price down to $720.
All the hardware is Pearl 900. Looks very good.
I also learned that That set is Specially made for GC's 45th Anniversary.
It is also limited edition and will only be sold in the month of August.
And another thing, That set isn't featured in Pearls website because it is SO brand new.
The guy at GC said you get to pick what size tom you want.
Maybe I might just get an 18. |

I forgot, sounds great, no pun intended |

Re: A Quick Little Heads Up! Did you see what the set looked like yet?
Yeah, the 900 series hardware comes with the 900 series pedal.(of course)
I saw the price of the 900 series boom stand and it was $85.
the straight was ten bucks less. The Hi-hat stand was $120.
I really don't know if the 18'' costs something. I have
to read the fine print. |

Re: A Quick Little Heads Up! the drum set coming THURSDAY OR FRIDAY OF THIS WEEK!
That means 5-6 DAYS every one!!
OMG I'm soooo excited!!
I will be most likely get it on friday though.
I did a little more research just now and I found the bass drum pedal I will be getting is
a PDP SP600C single pedal. It has a double chain drive and an off-set cam like the Iron
Cobras "Power-Glide". It's $100.
Here's a link: Buy Pacific Drums by DW SP600C Bass Drum Pedal | Single Drum Pedals | Musician's Friend Pretty nice, huh?
