Neil Peart - I used to be a Moon guy, but I got a Rush DVD and realized how truly amazing Peart was, and now watching that goldfish solo just makes me sick. It'll probably change to Cobus Potgeiter once his big new DVD comes out.

Nicko McBrian, Definitely, Iron Maiden is my favorite band, and I like his style, with using the butt of his left hand stick on the snare, I just love that, I'm trying to work that into my own stuff, right now, but, that's who I'd choose

I have to say right now I'm really into watching Ginger Baker. Look at old Blind Faith from 1969 doing 'Can't Find My Way Home'. He's not flashy but gets the job done. He always looks so totally in to what he is doing.

Also, Carter Beauford of Dave Matthews Band. Go watch his You Tube video of #41. WOW! So tasty the way he plays the Hi-Hat and Cymbals.
