Its gotta be TRAVIS BARKER for me at the moment man!! I think he rules.
There are better Drumers around but i like his style its awesome.

Tommy is crazy !! when i first got into drums i listened to a lot of cozy powell and although he is straight down the line and solid now and then he produces something thats mind blowing ! obviously mike mangini is a genious i love wil calhouns grooves neil peart for everything he does ian paice from deep purple for bringing jazz style grooves and fantastic fills to rock burn still blows my mind all these years on .......and to buddy rich the king of drums

Top of my list has always been Neil Peart (Rush).

Next up are Keith Moon (The Who), John Bonham (Led Zepplin), Carl Palmer (Emerson, Lake and Palmer) and Buddy Rich.

Out of the current drummers out there my favorites are Steve Gadd, and Dave Weckl (SP?). I like all of the old school jazz pioneers Bellson, Krupa, Rich. So many great drummers out there to admire it's really hard to pick one or two.

I'd have to say the Tool drummer Danny Carry. Just awesome with the integrated Electric Drums and some of the solos he performs. Saw him live in concert and I was mesmerized

Stanton Moore of Galactic is probably my favorite "current" drummer.

Neil Peart, Steve Gadd, Jeff Pocaro, Al Jackson, Bill Bruford, and Mick Waller all would be on my all time favorites list.

In my high school days, I would have jumped off of a cliff to be Vinnie Paul, but that was then...

Buddy Rich
Danny Carey
Sammy Watson (apex theory)
Vinnie Colaiuta

I don't listen to Dream Theater, but good God I could watch Mike Portney play all by himself all day...

As of current mostly active drummers in that list, I think Brann Dailor is going to do some great things in the future of drumming. He has already done amazing things but I dont think we've seen the best of him yet.
