Which is better? Zildjian K custom high-hats, or Sabian AAX high-hats... both 14 inches

And check out the zildjian k custom hybrid hi hats they are much better then the regular k customs. I hope you have a lot of money if you want a pair of those sabians or zildjians because they arnt cheap!

haha yeah i have the sabian aax 's right now, but i was thinking about getting the hybrid ones or a custom...the guitar center around where i live has a custom and they sound beautiful

I have Zildjian K custom hi hats and they are really good cymbals but they may not be what you want depending on the Genre of music you are playing, try them out if possible and judge for yourself before you buy.

If your looking for a real crisp sound, and like to make a hi-hat hiss nicely, check out the Zildjian New Beat Hi-hat.

Sounds great on both live and on recordings.

i say go with either the hybrids, k mastersound, or new beats

for sabian, i like the accelerator hats, and the stage hats arent bad

do you want dark or bright hats? answering that answers your question(bright=aax, dark=K).

all the big companies pretty much offer the same things with different names so its really sound that only matters.

It just depends on what sound you are after..both brands are very good...I will say this...K customs are more like Sabian's HH/HHX line (i.e, hand hammered, rather than machine hammered)...
