Okay, I've seen this Sabian product video in a few places on the forum. I've got to know how to play the fill at the 31 second mark.
Can someone please break it down slowly for me? The same fill is everywhere these days in every hot drummers' toolkit. I've got to learn it before I die....and by all means, please share your other favourite fills for others to learn.
Ya, I've got double pedals. Is it as simple as (simple to describe but not to play!) this: 4 alternating single strokes with the hands followed by 4 alternating single strokes with the feet and repeat (i.e. 4 of those hand foot patterns -- fast 32nd notes -- for the one bar fill), followed by 2 triplets and a quarter note for the 2nd bar?
I think that's it. I just have to work on my speed. I also understand if you play 2 hand strokes followed by 2 bass strokes really fast it sounds great too.
