Hows life and drumming?

I have always had a passion for music like many others and I am finally playing with some talented guys. I have been playing different instruments all my life and writing. I think my band has a chance locally and who knows what will happen. Music can be a rough life as a main source of income but can be done. It appears i live close to areas that music has a decent scene. Knoxville is up and coming and well Nashville is Nashville. I love grunge and original music. Within time you may run into some guys you just click with and can trust which is very important. I will be starting my Ph.D soon part time because i want to end up teaching at the university level eventually. If I want to grow my hair to my crack I can because professors don't have to many strict guidelines from what i know. I am working on roughly 35 originals and 5 covers then we are playing out every chance we get starting this spring. Life is nothing but chances there are no guarantees but death. I recently got off anxiety medication due to music which may sound crazy. Music is the best therapy when you have others to play with in my opinion. It is the ultimate high for me anyways. So how is everyone else musically and career wise? I hate my current job but oh well that life Anyone that are in bands and have a my space page let me know and I will add you to mine.

Life is a cher of bowlies and music calms the savage beast.

Education is the backbone of life and at least you have a job.

For me, music is fun but has never been a main source of income.

Good luck to you and the band.
