drum rolls and rudiments

Hey guys, i have seen heaps of people on youtube do heaps sick drum rolls and they are my age and i cannot do it that fast its really annoying, so would any of you have any suggesstions or exercises you do that have made your rolls and rudiments faster. Also im not very accurate in hitting my toms and snare when i do tend to speed up would you be able to help me out.

are you in the band at your school?

if so that helps probably the most of all.

all i can tell you is to get a list of rudiments and practic all the time.

look up vids on HOW to do them

To add to what cooldrummer said when you get the rudiments practice them slowly until you get them down. I think that its better to play something slowly and well than quickly and poorly.

Re: drum rolls and rudiments

It might seem like no progress is made, but as simple as 10 minutes doing rudiments, double stroke patterns on a pad or snare will get you better in a month.
