i've played quite a lot of them.
it took me a year or two to really get into the habit of writing before after and during when i practice.
i still use my notebook to practice,
i recommend (if you want to try my beats) getting in the flow of a given page,
and trying to read/play multiple ideas or phrases while keeping a steady groove going
it's a reading excercize that has revolutionized my own ideas

If only my computer was near my drum set....
I guess I can write them down. I'll probably get around to practice them tommarow.

Wow, that is an amazing amount of work and creativity you have going there. Have you ever considered downloading a free sheet music program to write out beats? There are some cool programs available that play back the notes you write, so you can hear it as you write it. It's a great tool for coming up with new stuff. Very cool stuff though. I hope to go through some of it.
