Bit of a burning question - does anyone here have much experience in recording drum covers and placing them on youtube? I tried but Windows Movie Maker does not allow precise enough video/audio syncing. Any other free/cheap alternatives? Also WMG tends to block material on copyright grounds. Is there a way to avoid this legally?
Thanks, I know its not strictly on 'playing the drums' but there aren't many resources on the net about the subject.

OK thanks a lot. Any suggestions about decent vid/aud sync software. i need to sync it to the millisecond and WMM doesn't allow for that precision.

Try selecting the music, then moving it left or right with the arrow keys. I know that works with most programs, but I haven't used movie maker in years. Also, are you using the version of movie maker that came with the computer, Or the new, movie maker live, that comes with Windows Live Essentials? - I believe that the latter made some good improvements, and may be worth checking out.

I used iMovie for my video. and that vid Der showed you is very helpful.
I can't say how to put a video up using windows though.
