Question Drum Books

I recently got some drum books which were recommended to me, and i was wondering if anyone else has feedback on them.

I have:
  • Stick Control by George Lawrence Stone
  • Bass Drum Control by Colin Bailey
  • Syncopation For The Modern Drummer by Ted Reed
  • The Encyclopedia of Double Bass Drumming

Is there any other books which you think may be useful? Such as for limb independence, speed, control, left foot/left hand etc..

Thank you.

Re: Drum Books

Stick Control by Stone is proven -- a classic!

Re: Drum Books

I am not sure about any of those books-however, i can make some suggestions:
Rudimental Logic-Bill Bachman
The Drummers Daily Drill-Dennis DeLucia
Quad Logic-Bill Bachman

All of these can be used on drumset-while they are marching drumline books, the techniques are drum-wide and can be used on any drum.

Re: Drum Books

Say, venom, do you mind if I recommend you for DSC librarian? I think you'd do a magnificent job.

You made DTX cry. He thought that he was the only book worm on the forum.

Keep up the great work.
