Need advice for my progression into drumming

iv been drumming for i beleive 8 years and i try so hard to better everything i learn like blasting, heel-toe and many other techniques but im think its my left foot when i try to play with my opposite foot it seems weaker and not able to put much power into my fills, with my left foot i use almost nothing but ancle and with my right foot it feels like i use nothing but leg. could someone please reply on excerises or something to correct this.
and you might have to go into alittle detail because iv never had a lession in my life ..

your friend,
DGK
