Set up

What's your setup like?

I keep it simple, a Sonor 4 piece, just bass, snare, and two toms. I'll add in some toys when needed (woodblock, cowbell, ect...) but that's it.

My current setup is posted in the "Drumset Gallery" page.

(It shows 3 crashes but I only use 2 live).

I have a premier XPK 5 piece set. It's pretty standard with 2 crashes a ride and 2 splashes with hihats. It's a wrap finish in purplish marble. I'll try to get a picture up sometime.

I have a ludwig accent I play with only one tom then a floor tom snare and bass. I have to crashes up top and then a ride and hit hat down low and a really cheap double bass pedal.

Standard 5-piece set-up for my Pearl Forum Series. Set of hats, couple crashes and a ride. All but the second crash ar Zildjian K-Customs. The one crash is a Zildjian ZBT, so it sounds a little funky but not too bad.

It'd be a lot better if we could all upload pictures to the drumset gallery on this site. Set ups are sort of hard to describe in words.
