Thumbs up How about the history of Peavey Radial Bridge Drums

These drums are no longer made but those who have ever played a set of the top of the line Peaveys will tell you that they're probably 'The Best Sounding Kit You'll Ever Play Period Bar None" These drums were ( MADE IN USA ) I'm very fortunate in that I own a kit and I have 7 kits all of them Top Notch kits but none compare not only in the labor of love put into their design but the unique look and sound quality are so far ahead of their time. If you ever get a chance to play a kit ( PLAY IT ) If you find one for sale (BUY IT ) or get in touch with me.... I'll buy them!!!! There's a group for Peavey Owners called "PEAVEY RADIAL PRO OWNERS WORLDWIDE" Awesome bunch of people you would ever want to know! All of them drummers who would love to see someone bring back these AWESOME DRUMS. For those of us who own a Peavey Radial Pro 1000 series kit it's like owning a real 1958-1960 Gibson Flame Top Les Paul ( THE HOLY GRAIL OF GUITARS ) So guys when someone mentions Peavey Drums "Don't shrug your head and say something stupid THINK ----- Now there goes a smart drummer.

Re: How about the history of Peavey Radial Bridge Drums

The only thing I know about the company named Peavey, is that they made good P.A. Systems back in the 70's.

I wasn't aware that they ever made drum kits.

Thanks for the heads up.

Here's the video explaining the design. The other videos I found didn't showcase the drums well. I wish I could test drive a set and see what the fuss is about. From what I could tell, the toms seemed to sound good when tuned higher. This intrigues me as my 16 inch has a very narrow window of tuning.
