Best Drummers from the past still drumming ...

I don't know if anyone remembers Boston .. but they were one of my favorite bands growing up ... Sib Hashian the drummer is part of the reason why I became a drummer. Anyways I'm happy that he formed a new band with some old Boston members and Return to Zero members .. their called Ernie and the Automatics.

I had no clue that their album was soo close to being released but according to Ernie and the Automatics the album comes out tuesday feb 17th .. which mean yes unfortunately valentines day is this saturday ehh .. check out the music .. its good music .. and if you were a fan of Boston or good drumming .. than give them a chance .. hes my all time favorite drummer .. so I gotta show some support ... Anyone have favorite drummers from the past that are still drumming ?? What you think of Ernie and the Automatics when compared to Boston, and Sib still drumming?

Well my all time favorite drummer is Steward Copeland of the Police, check him out on youtube, also thereis Benard Purdie with the purdie shuffle(done on Babylon sister by Steely Dan, Aja album) then there is Jeff Porcaro from toto
Rosanna, These are some of the drummers that i like of course Vinnie, and Steve
Gadd.Boston is a Good group, Oh yea i almost forgot John Bonham(Led Zepp).
Most of the Great Jazz drummers are now gone, Peter Erskine is still hanging in there,Jim chapin is a great teacher. But all time favorite would have to be Steward
Copeland of the police.
