Post Drummer Journals?

Hello,
How many of you are interested in using the drummer journal? This is sort of a drum blog where you can share your thoughts or keep track of your drumming progress. We're conducting a poll to see what you all want. If interest is low, we'll remove it from our site. Tell us what you think!

Drummer journals can be accessed here:

I'm going to think before voting, the option "I plan on posting regularly..." seems like the one for me, but I often plan to do these things and then let them fall into the background.

I certainly like the idea of keeping them there, but I'm not the one who has to moderate and maintain them. I've just set up a blog on my own site which I'm planning on using as a sort of recording / touring journal - to be honest I think I'd just post a link to that somewhere on these forums. Perhaps that's more what's needed - a place to post links to blogs / journals. Should be much easier to maintain?

Just some ideas.....

Thanks for the ideas. We'll consider that. One of the problems with posting links is that that may lead to a lot of spamming. You can post your blog link in the drum links section with our approval. We'll see what the other members that don't already have a blog think about the journals.

I think it's hard to tell right now because there are no journals. Once the ball gets rolling and people start posting entries I think more people will be motivated to post in their own drum journals.

That's good stuff! However, this may be better suited in the Drum Articles section in the Drummer Experiences category. What do you think? I'm working out some formatting issues in the journals.

It doesnt matter. You can move it if you want. Yeah it would probably be better there. Do you want me to make a new article and delete the journal?

Thanks. I'm seriously considering getting rid of the journals section altogether.

For future reference, articles and reviews posted need to be approved in the modcp before they are displayed to the public. Nice work!
