Taye vs DW

Im looking into getting a double pedal now and i was hoping for some help.

Right now i have thye Taye 601 pedal, i love the feel of it and it has very nice control and a solid swing. its a double chain, and was the top of the line tay until just recently
The taye i have comes in a double too

But the DW7002 has gotten some great reviews and i can get them both for about the same price

any suggestions?

DW, no contest. They put so much research and great minds on their products. You can trust DW. Taye is relatively new to the drum scene so go with a proven great.

I agree. Just because your Taye single pedal feels good, it doesn't mean a double will. Double pedals are much harder to make with good quality. DW is proven, so go with the 7000 series.

Re: Taye vs DW

Funny, I thought the 9002 was a far better feeling pedal. The 7002 was OK. I have the Yamaha 9315 double chain and it's not bad. A lot cheaper than the 9002!

Anyone tried or own an Axis longboard? Thats one I'd like to try............but can't afford.

A friend of mine has a set of Axis Longboards. They're killer pedals, but they're the most expensive thing on his kit. Check out his video with the Longboards in action:

I personally like the DW 9000s better than the 7000s too, but for the price of the 9000s, you might as well get the Axis pedals.
