I use the Powerstroke 3 most, so I voted for it, not that the acquarian super kick isn't a great head...

but the Powerstroke 4 is a great bass head, as well as the good ol emperors/ ambassadors, people forget about those for a bass head.

Lastly, whats up with all these crazy fancy bass heads...I mean, Cmon.

They work. Really. I really recomend trying out an emad. That said, Theres nothing wrong with Powerstroke 3's and 4's. Its all in what you want to hear.

Has anyone tried out the Powersonic series yet? I'd really like to hear some reviews.

My head is actually a Super Kick II.
It has a nice full round sound to it.

My highschool's kickdrum had an aquarian head on it. It was coated, muffled and powerdotted and sounded like you were kicking a sheet of cardboard. I've not been too keen to try them after that.

that reminds me of a song.

One of these things is not like the others,
One of these things just doesn't belong,
Can you tell which thing is not like the others
By the time I finish my song?
Did you guess which thing was not like the others?
Did you guess which thing just doesn't belong?
If you guessed this one is not like the others,
Then you're absolutely...right!

from Sesame Street, by Joe Raposo and Jon Stone
