whats the best double bass pedal i can buy under 300 bucks?

I'm looking to buy a double bass pedal..there's a lot on the market and alot of hype over the tama iron cobra powerglide...but i don't really have that much...
i'd prefer not to spend over 200 but if i need to shell out 250 or so i will.
I"m not a beginner to drums but i am a beginner to double bass...
so what would you guys recommend?

nearly the same as the 7002pt, just dumbed down hardware afaik

go to the guitar center and try out all the pedals. you'll find the one you like. the ones that tha really fast dbl bass guys use arent under 300 bucks. the serious guys are 500 and up. but if youre not doing 1000 beats a minute, any low end pedal will get you good feet skills. the low end iron cobra is a good choice. I personally use the axis longboards, but they were 500 bucks. I hear the trick bigfoot is the best, but it's a cool thousand dollars. please stay away from the really cheap ones (gibraltar) as they cause brain damage

I can say from experience that the Pearl Eliminator did not work for me,I got those for around 250.I use the IC's but as noted they are in the 300$ range.It is a good suggesion to go and feel out some pedals at the store,everyone has different preferences and all you are getting this way is what each guy is using and what they think about them.You can only decide for yourself from the choices available.I have learned to not buy off the internet without checking something out first.Oh,and eljay makes some good points there!haha.I suffered from Gibralter induced brain afflictions for years until I had enough.You gotta be careful of what you get in the 200$ range

In That price categorie, you cant go wrong with the DW 7002PT.

I had about the same budget and I went with the DW. It's absolutely one of the best pedal in the price / quality range.

I got Pearl 2002C Double Pedals for 200$US on ebay, brand new with carrying case. It's been about a year now and I am getting really mad beacuse I still can't seem to get used to them. Im now trying with a pillow, which is sounding great on the pillow, I've yet to try them out on the bass drum again. Overall, they are very nice, very adjustable, but tough for beginners.
