Re: When you drop your stick

yea, doesn't really matter cause they're all the same. I used batting tape last time I did my sticks.

Re: When you drop your stick

I find using dipped sticks helps alot compared to wooden sticks. it could be also of sweaty palms, your grip, nervousness. check this pair of sticks out, its the best pair i've ever used.

I use Stop Drops. I got them from Ebay. They work great!

Grab another from a strategically located position, and keep on grooving...

Re: When you drop your stick

I always have extra sticks in multiple positions around me (i.e. on top of the kick, behind me, etc.), and I have a friend who puts an extra stick through his belt loops on the front of his jeans. I don't usually use that one, but I have tried it and it is probably the easiest to reach.

Re: When you drop your stick

By some cheap white candles at Wal-Mart. Rub the sticks with the candle to deposit some wax on the finger grip area. Slippage is significantly reduced. Same trick as used by surfers on their boards.
